CELEBRATION OF LIFE

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Gina Yarnes on Sunday, July 6, at 2 p.m. at the Bob Jones Vision Center. This will be a time to honor and remember Gina’s incredible life of faith, quiet confidence, and steadfast love for the Lord. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solomon’s Porch Missions Fund at www.donorbox.org/in-memory-of-gina-yarnes.

 

SCHOOL OF THE PROPHETS 2.0

MorningStar School of the Prophets 2.0 will begin September 11, 2025! Tuition has been reduced for the next school year, which spans September 2025 through May 2026. Join us once a month, from Thursday evening through Saturday afternoon, and sharpen or hone your skills in the prophetic! Our speakers will include guests from all over the body of Christ, as well as our amazing home team, with worship on Friday nights and activations throughout. SABBATICAL

MorningStar will be observing its annual sabbatical July 1-31. Each year, MorningStar closes for a month to allow everyone to rest, reflect, and seek God’s vision for the coming year. The last Sunday service before sabbatical will be June 29, and services will resume August 3.

 

MORAVIAN LOVE FEAST

Join us for a Moravian Love Feast on August 13 at 5 p.m. in the MSU Room. This will be a service patterned after the love feast the Moravians celebrated after their baptism in the Holy Spirit. There will be traditional hymns, communion, a bread and cheese meal, and a very special visit by Count Zinzendorf (one of our leaders in period costume) preaching an authentic Zinzendorf sermon. This event is sponsored by Heritage Communities.

 

NEW LEADER TRAINING

MorningStar’s Connect Group ministry will be having their next New Leader Training on September 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the MSU Seminar Room. To sign up, please go to morningstarfortmill.com/connect, scroll down and click on “Become a Connect Group Leader,” fill out the form, and submit. To be eligible, you must have been in a Connect Group for three months or more and have a leader or pastor recommendation. Please consider connecting on social platforms as well as in person.

 

HEALING CLASSES

Pastor Gary Webb is gearing up to teach weekly healing classes this fall. Stay tuned for more details and prepare your heart in prayer to receive all that God has for you!
